has been married since 1982, and has 2 children, Eric (16) and Cory (13). Hal joined the United States Air Force as a medic
in 1983, and retired in 2004. He was deployed
twice, the last being Operation Enduring Freedom, one month after the 9/11 terrorist act. He is active in the Boy Scouts with his children,
and at his church as a lay eucharistic minister, lector and usher. His hobbies are sports (both playing and watching),
Air Force football, camping and fly-fishing. Hal
